You need to disconnect the heated Oxygen Sensor from its sensor pigtail before replacing it. Use a wrench to remove the nuts that fasten the Exhaust Pipe to both left and right catalytic converters. Adjust the exhaust system's position to the rear to avoid the studs on the catalytic converters from interfering with the Exhaust Pipe flange while resting it on the floor panel tunnel brace. Disassemble and throw away both the left side Catalytic Converter seal and the right side Catalytic Converter Gasket. Start by removing the 2 nuts that secure the Catalytic Converter to both the Exhaust Manifold and the Catalytic Converter hanger bracket. Proceed by removing the 3 nuts securing the Catalytic Converter to the Exhaust Manifold and extract the Catalytic Converter assembly.
