In order to change the evaporator core, take out the HVAC module assembly, air inlet housing, and associated screws. Dislodge the sound barrier seal, heater outlet duct and heater core. Take out the evaporator core and TXV. Installation requires adding PAG oil, affixing the TXV and aligning everything correctly and then tightening all the parts.
