How to service the knock sensor on 2002 GMC Savana 3500?

In order to service the knock sensor, switch off the ignition and empty the cooling system. Observes vehicle lifting precautions before lifting the vehicle. Unplug the harness with the knock sensor, un-attach the sensor itself, plug in the new sensor, reconnect the harness, get the vehicle back down to the ground, and then fill down the cooling system.
