How to replace the lower ball joint on 2002 Chevrolet Venture?

Replacement To replace the bottom ball joint, loosen the bottom arm of control and fasten. Grind or drill off the ball stud rivet heads then seek out the rivets with a hammer. Install the new ball stud using down-facing bolts, keeping it clean and with appropriate torque and ensuring it is appropriately seated. Lastly, screw the new nuts and fit the control arm again.
