How to replace the rack and pinion boot and breather tube on 2002 Chevrolet Malibu?

To have a replacement of the rack and pinion boot and breather tube, initially, loosen the outer tie rod and hexagon jam nut. Get rid of the old boot clamp and indicate the position of the breather tube. Apply grease and install a new boot clamp and then reassemble. Make sure that the components are in place and that they are fastened.
