How to service the Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer) on 2002 Chevrolet Express 2500?

In order to service the Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch, disconnect the ignition, and remove the engine cover. Refill the coolant, unplug the electric connector and unscrew the ECT sensor. Apply the sealer on the threads, install the sensor of the ECT, install the harness, refill the cooling system and reinstall engine cover.
