Begin the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 1 Sensor 2 replacement operation by lifting the vehicle. Detach the HO2S electrical connector then extract the heated oxygen sensor with caution. Before insertion add anti-seize compound P/N 5613695 onto new or service sensor threads because this product helps reduce installation difficulties in future sensor removal operations. Screw in the heated oxygen sensor and make it tight at 41 N.m (30 lb ft). Lower the vehicle after completing the HO2S electrical connector reconnection procedure.
