In order to change the oil pan, lift the car and put a drain pan under. Unscrew the bolts of the oil pan, gently tap, and empty the fluid and remove the oil pan and gasket. Wipe the pan, replace the gasket where necessary and re-fit the oil pan. Lastly, checking the fluid level and checking the fluid leaks.
