In order to access the oil pan, make the vehicle high and place a drain pan beneath. Slowly take off the oil pan bolts so that no sealing surfaces are damaged. Wipe the oil pan and clean then clean and examine, replace gasket where necessary and tighten the bolts. Lastly, put the vehicle on the ground and test that it is not leaking.
