    A: Before servicing the Ignition Control Module begin by disconnecting all electrical connectors at the icm while noting the spark plug wire positions before unclipping them from the ignition coils. The coil assemblies attach to the Ignition Control Module through screws that need removal before disconnecting the coils from their position. Start by removing the fasteners that keep the Ignition Control Module assembly fixed to the engine then extract the entire module from its bracket. Place the Ignition Control Module back on its bracket then mount the coils onto the module. Reinstall the fasteners which attach the Ignition Control Module assembly to the engine using the instructions in the service precautions section for safe fastener installation. Next install the screws by torquing them to 4.5 n.m (40 lb in). To finish the process connect the Spark Plug Wires following the removal sequence while also attaching the electrical connectors to the Ignition Control Module.
