  A: Start by turning the ignition off to replace the Spark Plug wires. You must twist the Spark Plug boot a half-turn counterclockwise to separate it before you gently pull on the boot to protect the wire. There are two procedures for the front bank spark plugs. First remove wires 2, 4, and 6 from the spark plugs, then detach each wire from its retaining clip. The engine needs to be rotated forward to access the plugs before removing wires (1, 3, and 5) from the rear bank spark plugs with their retaining clips. Box out the ignition coils and proceed to remove the Spark Plug wires from both systems. During Spark Plug wire replacement always move the boot heat shields and Spark Plug wire conduit in addition to the retaining clips. To perform the installation connect Spark Plug wires to engine and ignition coils before attaching wires 1, 3 and 5 to rear bank spark plugs and retaining their clips.
