How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 1 Sensor 1 on 2001 Chevrolet Camaro?

Instead of heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) bank 1 sensor 1, first make sure the vehicle is raised and supported. Loosen the ho2s electrical plug and gently pull out the heated Oxygen Sensor, being careful not to damage the threads on the Exhaust Manifold, Exhaust Pipe, or any other areas; especially when the temperature of the engine is less than 48°c (120°F). When installing the new sensor apply special compound of anti-seize compound p/n 5613695 on threads because this special compound that is consisting of graphite and glass beads will allow easier removal in future. Hand start the heated Oxygen Sensor and tighten it to 42 n.m (31 lb ft) before you reconnect the ho2s electrical connector.
