How to replace the MAP Sensor on 2001 Cadillac Eldorado?

Turn the ignition off and disconnect the MAP Sensor electrical connector in order to replace the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor. Next, the accelerator cable bracket bolts and its bracket should be taken off and follow it by the removal of MAP Sensor from the intake list. Make sure that the MAP Sensor grommet is not worn out, and, if required, replace it. Install the MAP Sensor back into the Intake Manifold while observing the fastener notice issued in service precautions. Re-install the accelerator edge bracket and bolts and tighten them to 12 n.m (106 lb in), and finally, connect back the MAP Sensor electrical connector.
