Commence MAP Sensor service by first removing the engine sight shield followed by disconnecting the MAP Sensor electrical connector. First disconnect the MAP Sensor electrical connector then proceed to remove the Intake Manifold maple sensor. Check the MAP Sensor grommet for signs of damage or wear then replace it if needed. The MAP Sensor installation includes repositioning it back into the Intake Manifold followed by cable bracket bolt installation and MAP Sensor connector reconnection. Reinstall the engine sight shield while tightening its retaining bolts until they reach 8 n.m (70 lb in).
