How to replace the rear wiper motor on 2000 Chevrolet Metro?

The first step to change the rear wiper motor involves taking off plastic retaining clips and the hatchback door inner trim panel from your vehicle. Unplug the rear wiper motor electrical connection and unscrew its ground screw. Dismantle the 3 wiper motor bolts while removing the motor from the hatchback door. Keep the wiper motor crank arm connected because servicing it separately is not possible and it allows the wiper arm to return to its normal park position. Take the rear wiper linkage out from the rear wiper motor crank arm. Begin with the wiper linkage attachment to the wiper motor crank arm and complete the installation by putting the wiper motor assembly to the hatchback door and fastening it with 3 nuts. Plug in the wiper motor electrical connector then install the ground screw before putting back the hatchback door inner trim.
