How to replace the rear coil springs on 2000 Chevrolet Camaro?

When changing the rear coil spring, you have to get under the vehicle using the frame holding up the vehicle to extend the suspension. Grasp the rear axle, loosen the shock absorber nut and lower the axle to take the spring out. Install the new spring with the lower end facing upwards and then re-install the shock absorber and lower the vehicle.
