You must first raise your vehicle and support it with the frame until suspension reaches its maximum height to work on the rear coil spring. You need to support the rear axle with an adjustable jack stand before you remove the shock absorber to rear axle nut. Suspend the axle rear from brake hoses as this practice leads to damage. Lower the rear axle unit slowly before you take out the rear coil spring. Pay attention to the lower spring end when installation because it should be pointed toward the front direction and maintain the corrosion coat intact. Reinstall the rear spring only if it gets damaged. Position the rear axle raised and bolt the shock absorber to rear axle nut while tightening it to 90 nm and 66 ft. Lbs. Torque specifications.
