How to replace the inner CV Boot and CV Joint on 2000 Cadillac DeVille?

To change the thermostat in a 4.3L engine, partially empty the cooling system. Take out the throttle body bracket nuts and air cleaner outlet duct. Remember to remove the water outlet housing, the gasket or O-ring and thermostat. Wipe down all surfaces, replace the new thermostat and the housing. Lastly, fill the cooling system and detect leakage.
