How to replace the rear axle upper control arm on GMC Yukon XL 2500?

To replace the rear axle upper control arm first raise and support the vehicle. Remove the electronic suspension control (ESC) sensor if available. Remove the upper control arm retaining nut and bolt from the frame bracket, Removing the retaining nut and bolt from axle bracket then followed by removing of the upper control arm. The installation process can include the upper control arm, secured to the axle bracket with the retaining bolt and nut, and finally the retaining bolt to the frame bracket. It is very important to avoid turning the nuts before setting the suspension to the curb height position. In that case, install the upper control arm retaining nut and the upper control arm retaining bolts and tighten them to 105 Nm (77 ft. lbs.). Finally, if the vehicle is equipped with the ESC sensor reconnect it and lower the vehicle.
