For the 4l60-e/4l65-e, remove the grille assembly and place a drain pan under the lower part of the vehicle to replace the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler. Detach the Transmission
Oil Cooler from the auxiliary Oil Cooler, and afterwards remove the Oil Cooler lines. The next step is to get rid of the 4 bolts and then take out the auxiliary Oil Cooler. Attach the Transmission Oil Cooler to the radiator support using the 4 bolts and ensure they are tightened to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.) also, remember to tighten the Oil Cooler lines to the auxiliary Oil Cooler so that they reach 23 nm (17 ft. Lbs.) after that, remove the drain pan and place back the grille assembly on your vehicle.
