Start by taking the air cleaner assembly off first. To start the replacement, users must disconnect the quick connect fitting of the evap line from the evap canister purge solenoid then remove the electrical connector from the solenoid on the engine harness. Start by removing the retainer which holds the solenoid to the Fuel Rail but first you need to disconnect both the evap line quick connect fittings starting from the solenoid and ending with the solenoid itself. When installing the new evap canister purge solenoid set it into position then fasten it to the Fuel Rail with the retaining bracket. Begin by connecting the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the solenoid before proceeding with the chassis evap line quick connect fitting and the evap line quick connect fitting.
