The first step to replace a sliding Door Lock Cylinder requires removing the side front door trim. Begin the procedure by uninstalling the Door Handle which sits on the exterior of the side front door. Afterwards separate the clip that maintains the lock cylinder lever connection to the lock cylinder. Insert the lock cylinder through the side front door outside handle from the outside of the vehicle and extract it from inside the handle. Insert the lock cylinder directly into the handle until the lock cylinder retainer engages properly. After that, install the clip that herds the lock cylinder lever toward the lock cylinder . The last operation involves reinstalling the side front door outside handle and replacing the side front door trim panel.
