Starting the headlamp bulb or cornering, sidemarker, park, or turn signal bulb replacement requires both the headlamp switch in off position and ignition switch set to lock. You should first observe the halogen bulb cooling down and put on eye protection before touching the glass part through the base. The bulb needs to stay clean and dry while you should dispose it correctly after use. Twist the daytime running lamp or high beam, low beam and turn signal bulbs one quarter counterclockwise to remove them before disconnecting their electrical connections. The installation procedure consists of connecting the electrical connector then pushing the new bulb inside while turning it clockwise one-quarter rotation. The bulb should always remain in touch with bare skin and requires cleaning with alcohol-based solutions when installation starts.
