A screwdriver will help extend the retaining clip tab which clears the way for the reservoir clip to move away from the hydraulic pump assembly. The second reservoir clip should be removed before extracting the reservoir from the hydraulic pump housing. Discard both O-ring seals that are located in the neck section of the reservoir and inside the hydraulic pump housing. Place new O-ring seal in power steering fluid before setting it into the neck section of the reservoir. The next step requires installing the reservoir onto the hydraulic pump assembly with security in placing the reservoir neck correctly into position.
