How to replace the air hose outlet duct on GMC Acadia?

Starting replacement of the air cleaner outlet duct requires the removal of the fuel injector sight shield followed by disconnecting the pcv fresh air tube from its camshaft cover fitting. Position the tube out of operation. Before removing the air cleaner outlet duct it's necessary to loosen clamps around the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor and Throttle Body components. The new air cleaner outlet duct must be connected between maf/iat sensor and Throttle Body by tightening clamps to 4 n.m (35 lb in). To install the fuel system components first position the pcv tube before connecting the pcv fresh air tube to the camshaft cover fitting and installing the fuel injector sight shield.

Both the Throttle Body and maf/iat sensor require the removal of the air cleaner outlet resonator. When installing the air cleaner outlet resonator place it onto the maf/iat sensor and Throttle Body while achieving 4 nm (35 lb in) torque on both the Throttle Body clamp and maf/iat sensor clamp. Reattach the pcv hose to the air cleaner outlet resonator.
