The first step to replace front lower Control Arm rear bushing requires you to remove the entire front lower Control Arm assembly. Place the lower Control Arm into a soft-jawed vise before moving forward. Position both tools j 2619-01 (Slide Hammer and Adapter) and ch-48107 (Bushing Remover and Installer) onto the lower Control Arm Bushing. Apply the j 2619-01 (Slide Hammer and Adapter) with ch-48107 (Bushing Remover and Installer) to eliminate the front lower Control Arm Bushing next you must use the j 5590 (Installer and Remover) to eliminate the rear lower Control Arm Bushing. Place the front and rear bushings at equal points along the Control Arm prior to installing the ch-48107 (Bushing Remover and Installer) on the front bushing. After compressing the bushings in the vise until they settle into position, remove the lower Control Arm from the vise and remove the ch-48107 (Bushing Remover and Installer) from the front bushing. Set the lower Control Arm back into its position within the vehicle.
