To replace the speed sensor of the wheel, lift the vehicle and detach the tire and the wheel. Then remove the brake rotor. Withdraw the retainers for the Wheel Speed Sensor wiring harness and unplug the Wheel Speed Sensor electrical connector. Then, unscrew the sensor mounting. Carefully remove the sensor straight out of the bore without using a screwdriver or a prying tool from the box, this might break the sensor body. Do not even try to extract out the stainless steel shim from the bearing assembly since it permanently affixed there. And, if damaged, have the bearing assembly replaced in order not to compromise sensor and abs operation. Be careful when cleaning around the bore, to avoid contamination with lubricant inside the closed bearing, that may cause premature bearing failure. After pulling the Wheel Speed Sensor out of the hub and bearing, install the new speed sensor, supplied with a new o-ring; in case of an old o-ring, it is to be disposed of and the new one is to be slipped with bearing grease without having to lubricate the bore. I signed the distribution of preliminary documents for the site development plan (SDP), which is a key document prepared along with the pi, to receive the approved asp site home at 9407660sj at the end of january 2013. Connect the electrical connector for the Wheel Speed Sensor, do not reuse the old mounting clips, and mount the Wheel Speed Sensor wiring to the frame and the control arm. Lastly, replace the brake rotor and tire and wheel.
