How to replace the multifunction turn signal switch on Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Start with multiturn switch replacement by turning off the SIR system and removing both trim parts from the top and bottom. Move the column to its central position while detaching both connectors from the turn signal and multifunction switch parts. To access the new turn signal and multifunction switch assembly remove its 2 pan head tapping screws and slide the assembly out. Position the new assembly with its electrical end touching the turn signal cancel cam piece and fasten it with two pan head screws. Screw both the top and front column components with torque values of 3 Nm and 7 Nm respectively. link all electrical connectors to the turn signal switch and multifunction module before setting back the upper and lower trim panels then activating SIR.
