How to replace the Air Bag Sensor in the Front End on Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Firstly, disable the sir system to change the inflatable restraint front end sensor. Pull the grille away and disconnect the head-lamp wire harness from the retaining clip and bring it upward to reach the front end sensor. Unscrew the bolts holding the sensor on to the frame, and then slide the sensor assembly off the frame. Mount the sensor assembly above the front Bumper, afterwards unbolt the retaining bolts and protective cover of the sensor. Prior to removing the sensor from the vehicle, disconnect the connector-position assurance (CPA) and the sensor electrical connector. To fit it, clean the surface of the fitting and place the sensor assembly horizontally above front Bumper and join the sensor electrical connector. Connect cpa to the sensor electrical connector, then the retaining bolts and protecting cover. Make sure that the sensor assembly is horizontal to the frame with an arrow pointing in the forward direction of the vehicle. Mount the two bolts retaining the sensor assembly to the frame and tighten them to 8 nm (71 lb in). Move the headlamp wire harness out of the way and back into the retaining clip and hold it into position, reinstall the grille. Finally, enable the sir system.
