When checking automatic transmission adjustment start by reviewing the cable end play for 10 to 15 mm (0.4 to 0.6 in) while disconnecting the adjusting nut and cable locknut at the Throttle Body unit then depress the pedal fully and measure the gap between the stop and housing should be 0.8-1.5 mm (0.03-0.06 in). Tighten the Throttle Cable locknut adjusting nut to 23 n.m (17 lb ft) again.
