Service and repair of the engine oil dip stick and dip stick tube requires users to first remove the oil level indicator from its guide tube before draining the cooling system. After detaching the upper
Radiator Hose from the Thermostat Housing workers should remove four fen nuts followed by fasteners on the
Radiator shroud while being cautious against Radiator damage during fan extraction. The servicing procedure requires you to fold the shroud toward the engine to detach the fan from the pulley hub before taking out the shroud and fan combination. The generator adjustment bolt needs loosening which allows the generator
Drive Belt removal along with the coolant pump pulley removal. Two bolts that secure the cylinder block must be removed before extracting the guide tube from the oil pump body. The guide tube seal installation requires engine oil coating before adding the tube to the oil pump body which should be secured with tightened 14 nm (10 ft. Lbs.) bolts to the cylinder block. Install the oil level indicator to its guide tube before putting on the coolant pump pulley and generator Drive Belt and generator adjustment bolt. Connect and pair the fan and shroud before using four fasteners on the Radiator shroud and the four fen nuts with a torque to 11 nm (8 ft. Lbs.). To complete the procedure first adjust the generator Drive Belt tension before you reconnect the upper Radiator Hose to the Thermostat Housing and make necessary cooling system refills.
