The egr pipe must be detached from both intake and exhaust manifolds through fastener removal to separate it from the right Cylinder Head by its mounting fasteners. Position the egr pipe first then fasten it securely to the right Cylinder Head by tightening its mounting fasteners to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Reposition the egr pipe between the engine manifold components while fastening the Exhaust Manifold connectors to 25 n.m (18 lb ft) then the Intake Manifold fasteners to 12 n.m (106 lb in). Reinstallation requires both the EGR Valve alongside the air intake duct and engine sight shield.
