The replacement process requires removal of the rocker arm cover and subsequent extraction of rocker arms and rocker arm supports together with pushrods. All rocker arms need detailed examination for cleanliness before proceeding with any required cleaning tasks and rod replacements. The replacement must keep all pieces in their factory positions. Workers should install pushrods starting from the rocker arm supports where the arrow is facing upward. Lubricate the pushrod socket and the roller pivot point and the valve stem tip with the appropriate lubricant chosen from designated specifications. Carefully use all fasteners to protect against possible vehicle damage. Start installation of the rocker arms by using fingers to loosely install the bolts at locations , , and then proceed with the remaining bolts.
