Begin MAP Sensor replacement by disconnecting the engine harness connector from the MAP Sensor while avoiding any motion that could harm it. Next, remove the MAP Sensor bolt and, using a slight rocking motion while pulling straight up, remove the MAP Sensor from the upper Intake Manifold. Check the MAP Sensor seal for any signs of damage before getting a new one. When installing the MAP Sensor place the new MAP Sensor seal on the sensor if required and mount the sensor to the upper Intake Manifold while following all fastener security measures. Secure the MAP Sensor with the bolt while tightening it to 10 nm (89 lb in) then connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the MAP Sensor.
