How to replace the fan clutch on Chevrolet S10?

Start the Fan Clutch replacement process by taking away the upper Fan Shroud. Begin by installing the Fan Clutch wrench (J 46406) onto the Water Pump to extract the Fan Clutch in a counterclockwise rotation. Proceed with removing the Fan Clutch assembly afterward. You must detach the mounting bolts of the Fan Blade before you can eliminate the Fan Blade from its location on the Fan Clutch. When installing the Fan Blade it needs to be fastened into the Fan Clutch by following instructions from the fastener notice in service precautions. Fits the Fan Blade mounting bolts before tightening them to 33 nm (24 ft. Lbs.). Attach the Fan Clutch assembly to the Water Pump with the Fan Clutch wrench (J 46406) while securing it to 56 nm (40 ft. Lbs.). Rejoin the upper Fan Shroud as the last step.
