The replacement process for the evap canister purge solenoid valve begins with disconnecting both the evaporative emission pipe and electrical connector of the purge solenoid. The replacement process starts by taking out the purge solenoid from the Intake Manifold after unfastening both the purge solenoid mounting nuts and the engine wiring harness bracket from the mounting stud. Start the installation process by putting the purge solenoid back to the Intake Manifold before reinstalling the engine wiring harness bracket to the mounting stud. Install the purge solenoid mounting nuts then tighten them to 12 n.m (106 lb in). End the procedure by reconnecting the purge solenoid electrical connector with the evap purge pipe.
