First detach all mounting nuts from the purge solenoid followed by the engine wire bracket from the stud before removing the purge solenoid from the Intake Manifold. You should reinstall the purge solenoid onto the Intake Manifold while following the instructions of service precautions related to fastener notice before placing the engine wiring harness bracket onto the mounting stud. Fasten the purge solenoid with mounting nuts while tightening them until they reach 12 n.m (106 lb in), then restore connections of the purge solenoid's electrical connector and evap purge pipe.
