To replace the ignition cable, twist the ignition cable boot for one-half turn to disengage and pull only on the boot to prevent damage to the wire. Take the ignition cables 2, 4, and 6 out of the left side
Spark Plugs of the engine, and remove them out of the holding clips as well. Next, unplug cables 1, 3, and 5 from the right side spark plugs and their respective retaining clips. Next, remove the ignition cables from the
Ignition Coils and ultimately from the engine. If new ignition cables are to be installed, move the ignition cable conduit and retaining clips. For installation, initially connect the ignition cables to the engine then you can connect the coils to the ignition coils. Next replace the ignition cables 1, 3 and 5 on to the right side spark plugs and fasten with the clinching clip. Lastly, attach the ignition cables 2, 4, and 6 to the left side spark plugs and attach them to the retaining clips.
