The technician must then extract the valve Rocker Arm(s) along with the Pushrod(s). Use gm p/n 1052365 or compatible prelube on push rods. Install intake valve push rods measuring 144 mm (5.75 inch) in yellow color first before putting the 152.5 mm (6.0 inch) exhaust valve push rods in green color. Procedure demands the treatment of Rocker Arm friction surfaces with prelube gm p/n 1052365 that should be replaced by equivalent products. Screw in all valve Rocker Arm bolts by using the j 36660-a tool until they reach 14 nm torque (124 in. Lbs.) and apply an extra 30 degrees of rotation. The final step involves replacement of all valve Rocker Arm covers.
