How to replace the rear door window glass Weather Strip on Chevrolet Express 3500?

The first step to replace the rear door window glass Weather Strip starts with taking out the side door trim panel. The next step involves removing the hinged body side window but you should properly manage static and swing-out variants separately. The procedure starts with removing the window then extracting the window Weather Strip from its position at the pinch-weld flange surrounding the window opening. Put the new side door window Weather Strip onto the window opening pinch-weld flange then press it firmly into its appropriate position. Install the body side window according to the necessary requirements of stationary or swing-out design. Finish the work by applying the side door trim panel.

How to replace the front door side Weather Strip on Chevrolet Express 3500?

The first step for weather strip replacement at the side front door consists of removing the upper retainer before applying 3M Release Agent or its equivalent to detach from the door framework. The weather strip needs to be pulled out from the side door channel before removing all retainers from the bottom section of the door. Remove all old adhesive from the area. You should soak the new weather strip with a mild soap and water solution beginning from the bottom of the door channel and push it toward the top for installation. The top area of reused weather strips should get adhered to the door using GM weather strip Adhesive (GM P/N 12345097, Canadian P/N 10953479 or equivalent). To install the retainer at the top of the weather strip you should attach it to the door while pressing the retainers into the available holes on the door.
