How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 2 Sensor 1 on Chevrolet Express 1500?

When replacing the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 2 Sensor 1 raise the vehicle before beginning the replacement process. Cut the connector assembly that serves the HO2S. The HO2S must be extracted using the Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B). New oxygen sensors require coating their threaded section with GM P/N 5613695 anti-seize compound made of liquid graphite mixed with glass beads to make future removal process easier. Use the Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) to install the HO2S then apply 42 N.m (31 lb ft) torque to the sensor. Finish by connecting the HO2S harness connector while dropping the vehicle down.
