How to replace the throttle body assembly on Chevrolet Equinox?

To replace the Throttle Body assembly, start out with the removal of air cleaner intake duct and the heater outlet pipe. Cover the Throttle Body opening with a shop towel and then use shop air to blow the dirt off the base of the Throttle Body. Pull up the connector lock to detach it from the tac module . Remove the Throttle Body bolts and remove the Throttle Body from the Intake Manifold, blocking the Intake Manifold with a clean towel from the shop to prevent dirt from going in. Remove Throttle Body studs if required. If the Throttle Body studs have been removed, install and torque to 6 n.m (53 lb in). Next, align the Throttle Body to the Intake Manifold and tighten the Throttle Body to 10 n.m (89 lb in) bolts. Reconnect tac module electrical connector back to tac module and lock it down by pressing down the connector lock. Finally, reset the heater outlet pipe and the air cleaner intake duct.
