Install the intake camshaft and the camshaft bearing caps tightening the bearing caps bolts in the increments of 3 turns until seated, then 10 nm (89 inch lbs). Coat with the anaerobic sealer, gm p/n 1052942 (Canadian P/N 10953466) of 5-mm (0.197 inch) bead, the rear intake camshaft bearing cap and tighten the rear intake camshaft bearing cap bolts to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). Next, install the camshaft sprockets onto the camshafts and tighten the new camshaft sprocket bolts by hand before removing the camshaft sprocket holding tool (J 43655) to tighten the camshaft sprocket bolts to 85 nm (63 ft. Lbs. Plus 30 degrees. Lastly, install the upper time chain guide but tighten it at 10 Nm (89 inch lbs) and install the Power Steering Pump with a torque of 25 nm (19 ft. Lbs) and end the process by installing the camshaft cover.
