The orange vacuum hose should be removed from the air inlet actuator before you can remove the actuator by sliding it off after lifting the lock tab. The next step involves taking the air inlet valve actuator linkage off the valve through the linkage rotation process. Install the actuator linkage by positioning it on the air inlet valve then turning it into place for security. Fit the mounting bracket's air inlet actuator into position with the tab locked in place then reattach the orange vacuum hose to the actuator followed by reinstalling the Instrument Panel (IP) carrier.
