New aluminum washers need installation when mounting the back up lamp switch into the transmission case while using 44 nm (32 lb ft) torque. Use a tie strap to connect the pigtail to the transmission before reattaching the back up lamp switch electrical connector through the pigtail and then lower the vehicle down.
