To replace the condenser, disconnect the negative battery, discharge and recover refrigerant. Take off the Radiator and the bolt holding the liquid evaporator pipe connector block, and remove the receiver-dryer. Close all openings to avoid contamination, and then remove the nuts and washers at the upper condenser mounts. Shaft the condenser rearward away from the Radiator mount support, lift it out of the engine compartment. For the case of installation, work with new o-rings against the receiver-dryer tube fittings, and double-check the condenser rubber mounts. Mount the condenser into the vehicle using the lower mount shock protectors fitting into designated holes and move it forward into the Radiator support mount holes. Reinstall the receiver-dryer and tighten the band clamp bolt. Join the receiver-dryer to the condenser pipe connector block with the help of the nut, tightening it to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Following that, install the liquid pipe connector block to the condenser retaining bolt, and tighten it to 14 n.m (124 lb in) which then install the refrigerant discharge hose connector block bolt at the condenser that should be turned to 16 n.m (12 lb ft). Replace the Radiator, reconnect the negative Battery Cable, and then blow out and re-charge the a/c system.
