The first step to replace the front door Window Regulator motor includes raising the window but removing the glass window in case the motor fails to operate. Then access the retaining screws. Move on to the next step by taking out the door trim panel, water deflector plus door speaker before supporting the glass. Disconnect the wiring harness of the Window Regulator motor and then take out the 3 bolts on its front side. Capaciously manipulate the motor as you free it from the cable housing while maintaining the cable gear inside the housing to stop the gear from detaching from the spool. Take out the motor from among all elements present in the Window Regulator assembly. Insert the new
Window Motor into the cable housing by wiggling it and fix it with the 3 bolts which must be tightened to 5 n.m (44 lb in). To install the new glass window reconnect its installation before inserting the motor wire connectors into the regulator unit. Check the window operation by joining the wire connector to the switch while the support is removed then inspect before breaking the connection and resuming installation. Install the speaker followed by the water deflector before putting back the door trim panel.
