As the last step install the dust cap , then assemble the outer tie rod with the Steering Knuckle and brake rotor and tire and wheel before lowering the vehicle.

  Start the Wheel Hub bearing change process by lifting and stabilizing the vehicle. Take off both tire and wheel elements and then the rotor part. Remove the wheel driveshaft assembly retaining nut together with its washer and remember to use new installation hardware. To disassemble the Wheel Hub and 15-series bearing take the axle remover (J 45859) tool to disconnect the wheel drive shaft from its position. Afterward remove the Wheel Hub and bolt out both 15-series mounting bolts and then 25/35 series bolts. Remove the vehicle's Wheel Hub bearing and splash shield along with dismantling the Steering Knuckle bore's o-ring seal from its mounting place. Check the o-ring seal for damage and dryness before installing a new one when needed. Prepare the hub and bearing assembly for installation by eliminating all contamination from the Steering Knuckle bore and applying Wheel Bearing grease or its equivalent to the Steering Knuckle bore. Fit the o-ring to the Steering Knuckle on a 25/35 series system before installing it to the Wheel Hub and bearing with its mounting bolt. Then tighten the fastener to 18 n.m (13 lb ft). Place the Wheel Hub and bearing and splash shield on each vehicle type 25/35 series before proceeding with the Wheel Hub and bearing assembly installation and splash shield placement for the 15 series. Secure the Wheel Hub and knuckle bolts for both 15 series and 25/35 series vehicles in finger tight position. Then tighten the Wheel Hub to knuckle bolts to 180 n.m (133 lb ft). Place the wheel drive shaft washer together with the nut onto the Wheel Hub assembly and secure with 240 n.m (177 lb ft) torque. Put on the Wheel Speed Sensor and brake hose bracket bolt to the Steering Knuckle after installing the wheel. Tighten the brake hose clip bolt to 12 n.m (106 lb in) before placing the wheel rotor, tire, and wheel back on and lowering the vehicle.
