How to replace the water pump pulley on Cadillac DTS?

A mechanic must first let out tension on the outer water pump Drive Belt tensioner before removing the Drive Belt from the pulley. After removing the end cap from the intake Camshaft workers can employ the j 38825 (Power Steering and Water Pump Pulley Remover) to disassemble the water pump drive pulley from the Camshaft. The water pump drive pulley must be set onto the intake Camshaft before using the j 38823 tool to perform installation. The installer tool should rest at the correct pulley depth when it bottoms out on the Camshaft. Position the Camshaft end cap followed by tightening it to 2 nm torque setting. You must install the water pump Drive Belt as the last step.
