First step to replace the front transmission fluid cooler pipe involves moving the
A/C Condenser after bolt removal since the a/c refrigerant discharge is not required for the procedure. Quickly remove
Transmission Oil Cooler (TOC) lines from the toc while using the transmission cooler quick connect (J 44827). The installation process starts by breaking two connections: the bolt between the toc line and the cooling
Fan Shroud followed by the bolts which secure the
Radiator support bracket. Apply the transmission cooler quick connect (J 44827) to sever connections between the front and rear toc lines and the Radiator after which the Radiator can move backward and release the front toc lines. The front toc lines should be installed first followed by attaching both toc lines to the Radiator, and finally connecting them to the Transmission Oil Cooler for installation. Fit the bolts into place that secure the Radiator support brackets while tightening them to 9 n.m (80 lb-in) torque settings. Additionally, install the toc line bolts to the cooling Fan Shroud before tightening them to 6.5 n.m (58 lb-in torque specifications. Reinstall the condenser after its proper positioning.
